To ensure fairness
to all
customers
and maintain the highest standards expected as members of MANZ (The
motel association of New Zealand), we have adopted the following
policies:
Tariffs: Seasonal/unit rates and minimum booking periods apply. Rates
listed for online bookings are non commissionable and include Goods and
Service Tax.
Cancellation policy: Between the 25th of December and the 14th of January cancellations with
less than 7 days notice may result in the total amount for the booked
accommodation being charged. For all other dates cancellations made up
to 7 days before the booked date incur no charges. Thereafter, the
deposit may be retained. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice
may result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being
charged. Special conditions apply to Group quotations/reservations. A
deposit or an authorization for a credit card deposit/withdrawal is
required at the time the booking is made. Should the authorization be
declined, we will attempt to contact the customer. If we are unable to
contact the customer we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
Changes
in reservation term: Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and
additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to
availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may
result in the full amount of the booked accommodation to be charged
unless the motel management approve and are able to relet the booked
accommodation.
Smoking:
As this is a smoke free complex, please smoke outside away from open
windows and doors. In the event of someone having smoked in the room we
will engage a specialist cleaning company. We reserve the right to
charge such costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered
guest.
General:
Visitors are permitted at the managements discretion only however, not
after 10pm. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all
persons/visitors whilst on our property. All damage to our property and
any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of
income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest.
Check-in/Check-out:
Check-in
is
available
from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is
10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or check-out is by
arrangement only.
Accounts: Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of arrival
(if not already done so). All other charges (laundry, phone, etc.) have
to be settled on departure. Overdue/recovery charges may be made if
your account is not paid on time. |
